G16 Prototype Deck - Board of Canada (33.6mm) - Real Wear Special Edition

The FlatFace G16 Prototype Deck – Board of Canada Real Wear Special Edition (33.6mm) is a limited edition release featuring a special graphic inspired by the legendary electronic music duo Boards of Canada.

This Real Wear graphic uses transparent lettering, allowing the bottom ply colour to show through the text, creating a unique look on every deck. Because of this process, the text colour and bottom ply may vary, making each piece slightly different.

The G16 Prototype shape was developed during the creation of the original G16 mold. While it was not the final intended shape, the result was a distinctive deck with its own performance characteristics.

Compared to the standard G16:

• Prototype G16 – sharper, more angled shape with steeper kicks and a crisp response
• Standard G16 – smoother, more flowy transitions

This gives the Prototype a snappier feel and more aggressive geometry, making it a favourite for riders who enjoy a responsive and technical setup.

Produced in very limited quantities, the G16 Prototype decks are a special part of the FlatFace development history.
